Welcome to Cool SociologyCool Sociology is dedicated to spreading interesting sociological ideas. Though there are already many good venues in which sociologists can present their work, too many good ideas go unpublished. Cool Sociology will present work that:
This is not a peer-reviewed journal, though it does have standards. Submissions must be interesting, creative, and contain serious sociological ideas. In consultation with various associates, the editor decides whether a particular submission is worth public distribution. Authors should be under no illusion that publication here will impress deans, review committees, or otherwise increase their professional status. Leave that to the regular journals! This venue is designed for those who want to share their good ideas in something other than the standard journal format. Authors retain copyright to their articles.
