Submission PolicyCool Sociology considers submissions in all areas of sociology. To submit an article, write us using our online form. Choose "Submissions" in the drop-down "Topic" box. The editor will reply with an e-mail address to which you should send your paper in either Microsoft Word or HTML format. Your submission should include three things:
The editor will acknowledge all contributions as soon as possible, which may vary depending on his travel schedule. The editor will decide whether or not to publish the piece, often after consulting with colleagues who are expert in a given sociological sub-field. If he finds the ideas interesting but the presentation incoherent, he may request revisions. Unlike regular journals, simultaneous submissions are allowed. They are, however, rather pointless. Cool Sociology is designed to promote creative ideas that cannot find a standard venue. If you can find a more prestigious venue, why not use it? Authors retain copyright to their articles. -- J.S.
